Annual Fund
Bridging the Gap!
Hillcrest Christian Academy’s Annual Fund is an integral part of the complete Hillcrest Experience. While tuition provides the majority of our operating revenue, the HCA Annual Fund bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Hillcrest education.
It provides us with the ability to offer enhanced programs and experiences to our students, and enables us to build on our standard of excellence.
Your gift to our Annual Fund will be used for equipment, teaching materials, and capital improvements to our building, based upon the area of greatest need.
Dr. Kenneth Barbour Scholarship Fund
After retiring from the Pittsburgh public school system, Dr. Barbour obeyed a calling from God in 2001 to offer his extensive expertise, wisdom, spiritual leadership, and his heart of service to the children and families of HCA. Under his guidance and leadership, substantial improvements have been realized in the areas of curriculum, technology, staff development, and the physical building. He has safely seen the school through many changes and challenges, all the while placing the schools mission of providing quality Christ-centered education to train up a child in the way he should go first, instilling in every child a desire to follow Jesus Christ, and equipping them to further the process of his or her future pursuits. Through the years Dr. Barbour has built a culture of harmony and respect at the school, earning himself a special place in the hearts of all who walk through the doors of HCA. Join us in honoring his service to the school by donating to this need based scholarship fund.
Roy Jones Math and Science Memorial Fund
Roy Jones was a beloved Math and Science teacher at Hillcrest Christian Academy. His love for teaching and mentoring young people was his passion and evident to all who knew him. He left a legacy of love and care in the many students he coached and taught throughout his career. Join us in celebrating his legacy by contributing to the Roy Jones Math and Science Memorial Fund. Donations will benefit Hillcrest’s math and science classes and make a lasting impact on our students.
Jeannette Carr Scholarship Fund
Continue the Legacy of one of HCA’s Best-Loved Teachers!
Jeannette taught at Hillcrest Christian Academy in Bethel Park for 15 years. It was one of the great joys of her life and something she was very proud to be a part of. You can help share in the legacy that Jeannette left by making a contribution to the Jeannette Carr Scholarship Fund at Hillcrest Christian Academy. The proceeds will help to bless families that could not otherwise afford a Christian education.
